A sardine label revived by José Nero in Matosinhos, originally associated with the Nero family cannery founded in 1912. Georgette sardines found their footing during World War II and built strong positions in the US, Germany, Italy, and France in the postwar decades. The revival returns the label to the Matosinhos tradition it came from.
