Belmar

Founded in 2016 in Setubal by Afonso and Teresa Rocha, whose families had roots in the city's historic canning industry, Belmar is a brand rather than a cannery, commissioning production from Portuguese factories to its own specifications. The name is a compression of belo mar, beautiful sea, chosen because it pronounces identically in most European languages. Focused on the gourmet export market.
