Founded in 2014 by PEI-born chef Charlotte Langley, who taught herself canning on an antique home machine, Scout was the first North American line to source every species on the continent: lobster and mussels landed and canned in Prince Edward Island, albacore caught off British Columbia and canned there, Ontario lake trout, Alaskan salmon.
