Diplomats

The premium export brand of SIA Unda, a canned fish producer based in Engure, a small fishing village on the Gulf of Riga. The Engure cannery was originally built in 1907 by the confectionery and canned fish manufacturer L.W. Goegginger, passed through various owners including fishermen's cooperatives and Soviet collective farm Padomju Zvejnieks, and was privatised as Unda in 1992. Diplomats produces over 100 varieties of smoked sprats, trout, salmon, and herring, presented in elegant packaging evoking Baltic heritage. Exported to Germany, Poland, Spain, Portugal, USA, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.
